Wow, I didn't know Symphony X did distorted vocals - wow, this has changed my opinion of them rather, from what I'd heard they were very talented but all about too many 20note/second unison guitar/keys solos, like Dream Theater with no emotion, which is a bad thing to have.

You're right but in my opinion MiLoco939 means that the world needs more bands with such originality like Riverside. We don't want the same music and bands like Riverside, Tool or Deadsoul Tribe have their own genre and incomparable style. New creations are possible thanks to intelligent bands with musical talent.
