Director Fleischer envisioned the entire video to be kind of a 'Risky Business on acid' affair with the entire 3 minutes being devoted to Valentine destroying a house. Valentine always pictured this being a 'guerilla booty' video, with the Dance Commander character holding court in a high school gymnasium with cheerleaders, freaking them as needed. A compromise was reached and the video was shot with elements of both concepts, resulting in a video that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Just played this game and got bored after some hours. Skrimish is ok but no way i can play campaign. So boring. I think the game is not coded well because it needs to good hardware for this game. C&C 3 KW I can play almost with maxed graphics here must play almost on min graphics. Aldo units dont look so good in Supreme Commander. Most of the time they look boring. Oly big ones look cool. Also they move to fast for robod, just looks silly. :D

about the energy/mass thing. well when you start out building energy and mass FIRST is key. dont go ahede and build factories and airbases build up supplies. then build a land factory and send engineers out to get more mass. then upgrade mass by clicking on it and press upgrade. but upgrading mass will cause your mass to go down by 10 then when its done it goes up alot. you can build as much energy plants as you want so do that

I've done serious O-Roading since i was 8. U just gotta know how 2 drive... check my vid. Thats a 4x2. I've seen ppl make easier stuff in a 4x4 and being proud. At 2:56, just gotta go with some momentum. At 3:39, by decreasing tire presure to 28, 27 psi, you'll get the traction you need. I would love another sequel in the WC series. Imagine how they could make a game like this look these days, with most gamers owning either a dual or quad core system, or a console with virtually the same possibilities. All they do is remake the same shitty military FPS games until everyone pukes. I'm sick of it. A Wing Commander remake or sequel would even be original these days. But no, they choose to do remakes of horrible platformers like Bionic Commando. At least give us a new Megaman FFS.

I would love it if they'd bring back WC. I think the closest we'll ever get though is that xbox live title...which wasn't all that great, but was still a fresh WC title. Origin systems was bought out by Electronic Arts...so they own the rights to the game pretty much. Lots of luck if they ever bring it back.

This is one of the best games ever. The music and graphics were incredible at the time (the game actually has dynamic music - it changes depending on the situation - a feature that's not even very common today). I prefer the PC version, while the Amiga version had some rather cool renditions of the soundtrack, the amiga was limited to 4 sound channels, I don't know the limits for the PC adlib card, but it sure was a lot more than that. And the VGA graphics on the PC are beautiful.

Unbelievable atmosphere. Back then I didn't really like 'flight sims' but Wing Commander and Gunship 2000 were both awesome (Amiga). Later played through Wing Commander 3 on the PSX, but it didn't come close to the original. Only fun thing about WC3 was that you could complete the game halfway through if you somehow managed to save the Admiral Tolwyn's 'big gun', which happened like once in 1000 attempts. :p
