its a 2009 fx50s awd. Its my freinds car he didnt use the paddle shifters he just put in drive in sport mode and mashed the gas at the tree. Best run for the day was 13.55 102mph. Its a bone stock fx50s. I think this car is a freak I was exspecting mid 14's at best.

that was an fx50. the fx doesnt come with those rims unless it is a v8. and besides the vq engine cant even propel the g37 to that speed, so definitely a v8. but i think it was stock, it is one bad ass machine and actually it might be lighter than that challenger which is technically a brick due to the massive weight and terrible aerodynamics.

i have a 1970 duster and know mopar.. Your stall converter is WWAAAYYY too low for thr cam in that motor. Whats it stall at 3,000 rpm?? Try a 4,500 stall and see what that thing does. 600 hp should blow the tires off but the car cant reach the powerband caus your damn stall is too low!!!! I know the 727 pretty well.....

i highly doubt that car has 1700hp... i work with race cars i know what 1000hp+ cars go like. this is more like 900-1100hp, alot of people use air correction on their dynos so it calculates the "perfect day" which doesnt give a true honest reading of horsepower. i can make my stock ford do 540hp at the wheels by correcting it. so who really has how much power they say they have?

I got a 2008 I LOVE IT!!! I think it is so worth it. It handles great it is truely an amazing car. Sadly dodge only made 6400 of 2008 models and i got 1760 out of the 6400. But the 2009 models dont have some of the same things the 2008 have and the 2009 wont have has much power but is still so worth it.

More time is possible to get out of a car. The reason why the driver has a weird driving style is because this is only his third lap ever in a Viper. He has never driven one before, so he's not really used to the lower revs or torque at lower RPM. He is a good racecar driver, though.

To support my claims of handling lets compare the GTR to the ZR1. The ZR1 enjoys a higher entry and apex speed than the GRT, yet as the cars leave the corner the GTR's front end grip allows it to exit faster. Because AWD is inherently heavier than RWD the ZR1 transitions from right to left quicker, a factor in chicanes. As for drift the Scandinavian Flick is a drift technique used in rally to get AWD to "turn in" faster. I fail to see how the small centripital mass of a turbo is a factor.

You sir are amazingly stubborn and your definition of handling seems to be grip.When it comes to rally they drift for multiple reasons have you ever thought all those engine s have turbo's, how does a turbo used effectively. When it spools so drifting actually keeps the turbo spooled through out the turn.I could be wrong they could have 2-step. All awd have understeer? AWD? Viper and Vette own Le Mans and they are both RWD? The fucking Ferrari enzo and FXX are both RWD you fuck tards. All wheel drive is dominant in Rally cars thats about it! Putting power to 4 wheels is much more complicated than 2. Viper ACR owns just about every contest/showdown it enters!

kudos piwright42, skyline you're a dumb shit, the zr1 pulls more gs ona skidpad than the gtr, or pretty much any other allwheel drive car for that matter. allwheel drive cars have more body roll when cornering just because they're all wheel drive so they really don't handle better on a track, they're just better at drifting.

You may point out the ignorance of others but your hypocrisy leaves me appalled. All AWD cars understeer. Even the vaunted GTR understeers in long sweepers. Why do you think they use the Scandinavian Flick in rally? Weight is a factor in steering transition. AWD are inherently heavier than their RWD cousins. This why the ZR1 handles chicanes faster than a GTR. Why else would the GTR's torque split bias 100% of the horse power to the rear wheel most of the time?

The go cart is fast but not as fast as the viper. It doesn't look like she was really pushing the car and she obviously gave up the inside so that the guy could pass. In the strait the viper should have left him. The woman can drive but I think she held back to make this challenge intresting.

I Didn't know about Svennson's death. Saw them live at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester a few years ago (they played with Bugge Wesseltoft) and they were fantastic. Very talented guy and part of a great trio. RIP Esbjorn Svensson.

how is this irresponsible this is common practice, most items to be scrapped are shredded, especially used cars. they are crushed at the junk yard and shipped to be recycled where they are shredded and reduced to their components, it is easy to separate like metals when they are in little bits. and for marketing, of course it works, there arn't many shredders that size that could do that good a job on a car.
