What a strange way for self seeking making yourselves look at absolute idiot with two left feet on prime time TV! Wake up! it takes real courage to go on to that Dance Floor! The back stage cammaraderie is genuine! JS is a serious political commentator Strictly has shown a charming warm side to him! However he is using sophistry arguments. Dancing is entertainment. JS isn't an honest contender for a Ballroom Trophy. Its simply he is there to Dance if not OFF. Votes for a non Dancers are VOID!

Wrong how bigoted can you be! JS actually danced neatly in the early stages. This is popular ballroom dancing. Larger people are very often lighter on their feet. You are confusing Professional Dancing with Ballroom dancing! JS entered a Ballroom Dancing Competition for a Trophy! This is for a Ballroom Dancing trophy. They are being marked not a Professional Dancers but as Ballroom Dancers!

Sargeant is taking part, like all of them, for self promotion. But the faux pa of including a contestant for comic effect who may go on to win the competition is very funny and a justifiable reason for voting I think. But I fundamentally agree with your sentiments. I'm drawing up a shortlist for the next series. How about Johnny Vegas, Heather McCartney or Stephen Hawking?

If it's purely a dance competition, why hasn't the worst dancer been eliminated? ALL of these people are being paid by the B.B.C. for nothing more than indulging in shameless self promotion. JS is having nice long freebie FREE Professional Dance lessons and be paid for it by BBC license fee payers! He signed on to a Dance competition has been paid to Dance! and isn't dancing! The sophistry arguments is simply to pretend that Strictly Come Dancing is something other than a Dance competition. His appearance is what 2-3 minutes against an hour plus of dancing! Then like a petulant spoilt child he argues I am entertaining the public. Athletes and Dancing have always go together.

The whole show is "up it's own arse". The fact that a public vote can undermine the whole fiasco is hilarious! It has nothing to do with sympathy. Are we so stupid in this country that we can't appreciate the arts unless the performance involves some ex-footballer or t.v. chef? Programmes like this insult the intelligence (for those that have it). If we replaced the "celebrities" with pro dancers, no one would watch. VOTE J.S.
