I remember getting this game when I was eight years old. Even though I knew ahead of time that it wouldn't look as good as the arcade version, I sure had fun and spent many hours playing it. Given the 2600's limitations, I think this was a reasonable port, it sure as hell was a better port than Pac Man ever was!

Amazing how it has improved, comparing to the original Pac-Man for A2600. This time it's much more like the arcade, there's even the bouncing fruit, it has different screens (although not all are like the arcade version), the theme tune is the same (well lower quality because to the limits of the A2600) as the arcade, and the sounds are not annoying (unlike the other Pac-Man). Excellent game! Maybe my favourite for the A2600.

Nice video Dean. This brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. Me and my cousin use to play the hell out of this back when we were kids. Much improved over the horribly done Pac Man for the Atari.

I am not sure about that it is not only about graphic but also about gameplay and VR was a better game i agree on that but this game has better graphics. Technically Jaguar CD was Maybe a little better than Sega CD or equally Good as Sega CD. 32X was technically higher but the games didn`t showed that at all.

In my opinion the best game on the Atari Jaguar and also superior when compared to ported versions. There's nothing quite like T2K on the Jag ;=)

Anyone out there in You Tube land familiar with the Amiga demo scene at all? If so, remember Digital's "Day of Reckoning" demo? a fave of mine from the 90's, well the music in this very Jaguar game has the exact same sounds from the pumping soundtrack in that demo. So, not sure which came first but it seems to me that the sounds in this were used for the music in that demo, or vice versa. Still, most of the music in Jaguar games sounds as though it was done on Amiga anyway, no bad thing

Look, I understand you think the SNES version is the best(lol), but stop trying to make it better then it was is all I'm saying. It absolutely did not make better attempts at any textures whatsoever. The graphics and framerate were shit, period. The only "bad" things about the 32X version was the sound(which doesn't bother me) and lack of levels. Other then that, the SNES version sucked at everything else. The graphics do not "jutter" either. The only console port it's better then is the 3DO.

the snes version has 59 levels, basicly most of the PC levels with only a few missing. By making attempt at textures i mean more than just plain brown or grey walls, yes it was low res but it was better than most of the console ports off the time. The 32x version is shit beyond explaination lol the sound is horrible and the graphics judder alot, considering it uses an entire new piece of hardware its kinda a joke lol. At the end of the day play the version you enjoy playing i dont care.

Are you seriously saying this? First of all the Jag port has 24 levels, how many does SNES have? Second the 32X had much better detail, the textures here great and the framerate was good too(being 32 bits). How did the SNES make a better attempt at any textures? Look it's a 16 bit system. The game just doesn't look or run as good period. Also the Saturn version is horrible, most notably with it's terrible choppy framerate. The 32X and Jag versions ran much better than that too. Come on junior.

I had a 520STFM, 1040ST, TT, and a Falcon. This brings back memories. I believe "FM" stands for "Floppy Module" and "E" for the 1040STe stood for "Enhanced" due to the Blitter chip. Boy does this bring back memories. We even did the 1MB RAM-Stack upgrade. Yay. The thing that brings back most memories is the fact that this thing had a SCSI-1 connector in the back, which mean a 40MB HD! w00t!

Give Vista a chance I heard it's got some A.I. The windows was a Macintosh concept which was dubbed the Jackintosh from Jack Tramiel who sold the St cheaper. I got a bunch of Amiga assholes trying to tell me which was better when the price of the Amiga was 800 dollars more. For 800$ it better be dam better. Both of the machines were very comparable. Amiga had little better graphics(not much though) the ST had 2 midi ports sound great. Unfortunately the St was not marketed that well. SAD!

Best computer I ever owned. No viruses, The greatest games. I had to make a road trip to buy the games because they were so unavailable in the USA. I loved the people that used them. Ocean games man I haven't heard that name in years. I had this game Barbarian you would cut off this guys head and a little green guy would come out and drag the body of the field . 1st console ever to use windows, drag and snag. Hands down, the best!
