Did you spot the Wiener mobile in the video? Anyways, truly exciting seeing a building such as this being built in a American city that is not known for skyscrapers or has much of a global effect. Here's to more architecturally interesting buildings being built in cities such as Little Rock and Milwaukee.

wow... that made my jaw dropped! what program did you use? it have interesting visual presentations.

Simply put it, interesting visuals. now about the project, I'm scared to see what happens at a pedestrian scale and level. OMA does great futuristic projects, but the context suffers enormously. The Seattle Library is a monster with no regard to the pedestrian real around it. The lessons learned during the first year of architecture are sacrificed for the big idea, the massing, the wow element. COuld you pay more attention to the city, the context and the pedestrian?

man i cant wait till this is up. as someone from louisville im very exicted about it
By: sproggino. on 05 Dec 07, 10:57:27
I think it looks like an oil rig... and is going to be pretty out of place in the skyline. I dunno, I hate to dump on it, because most people here in Louisville are excited about it. Its like a weird starchitecture building... without the star architect.

Very impressive presentation media. Unfortunately, the presentation mixed media overwhelms the architectural design. Or was that the subject?

im from and live in louisville and i cant wait until it goes up!!! very unique...

This is a great project for Louisville, Ky. This building will be one of the USA's most unique and recognizable buildings. The animation is amazing as well.

wat programme is it,cuz i know it is not autodesk, right?
By: paradoksity. on 11 Feb 07, 15:27:54
Brilliant movie, what an amazing skill in presentation technique // now it might be a good idea to learn about architecture too... Eventhough it might seem so or is argued by some 'BIG' architecture isn't that empty in meaning as this building is. Or maybe this idea is not so empty as it sames - if that is the case, the presentation method is not as good as it seems. advice: more energy in building, a little less in multimedia.. congrats, it's still veryvery great to look at this vid.

The video is too long. It is as if they said, "Hey, how many times and how many different ways can we show how shitty our building is?"
By: erickbogantes. on 05 Jan 07, 07:42:26
exelent!!!! Very good reading of the architecture
By: PsytastikTunes. on 04 Jan 07, 05:05:24
the point is to see the building in its context. see how it relates or doesn't relate to the surroundings. plus, it's also meant to razzle and dazzle the judges/critics/city planners of that city. ;-)

fantastic presentation of an architectural design. i love the mix of modelmaking, 3d drawing, rendering, and real filming. plus good music. the design, however, does not convince me. OMA has done much better, this one seems very uninspired. museum for what, by the way??
