There is no denying this but movies like this broke barriers between whites and blacks,they were not even suppose to hold hands by law but the movie industry ignored this,I know who Mr. Bojangles is and I have been enjoying watching him and shirley since I was a child. I have seen much prejudism in my life as iam half indian and white but movies like this one helped me to see things could be overcome even prejudice,praise Jesus!!!

I just love Shirley Temple, she is so cute and so very talented, her acting ability is so convincing, her dancing impeccable, and I have and always will be a fan! Thank you Shirley for giving so much entertainment and joy! Now my kids are watching her DVD's, the third generation in our family!

The "Black Guy's" name is BILL ROBINSON AKA "MR. BOJANGLES" he was a very talented actor and dancer. And yes it was a DAMN shame that his talent was so little recognized in the racist white community !

TRUE entertainment!!! I respect entertainment like this so much compared to today. Can you imagine not seeing Shirley Temple and Mr. Bojangles in scenes like this?
