Indeed there was a Roxy element to Magazine, probably why i like both bands and Eno !

Just a heads up, they will be playing an extra night in London now, Thurs 12 feb. As for me, Friday 13th will be my lucky night - because I'm going to that gig.

Fucking brilliant whoever posted this..I saw these in 1978, they were mesmerising..Howard Devoto truly amazing and charismatic...Produced by John Leckie, you can hear the early Radiohead and MUSE influence

Fantastic! the guitar reminds me of Mark F from Part 1! Anyone remember them?

Saw them in Holland in early 1980 at "de Effenaar" in Eindhoven. Mesmerizing show. McGeogh was brilliant, Adamson awesome. Howard D. wearing his bomber jacket. Perfection!

Got all of their albums, and to be honest i'm quite chuffed they packed it in, rather than go commercial.

Saw them in 1979 and they were really good. But so loud I was deaf for 48 hours... I think it was Barry Adamsons 1000W bass stack.
By: jbmolcon. on 09 Nov 07, 12:10:40
exactly my sentiments,,i was probably at the same gig! I still rate them as my favourite ever band.

The Album's called real life-the track's definitive gaze-saw them in 79- so under-rated absolute brilliance
By: kidwoofwoof. on 23 Aug 07, 15:39:54

By: JohnnySwitchblade. on 10 Aug 07, 22:28:03
