Perhaps the reason adolescents are so keen on weapon is that their growth is accompanied by an increased independence allowed by parents or guardians and less upervision contrary to the pre adolescent stage. This is perhaps because of the increased social pressures of independance imposed on them. Adolescence psychology is associated with notable changes in mood. Although this may cause conflict on one hand, they can promote positive personal deelopment on the other.
