I woke from a Midday nap to hear this angelic voice sing such a wonderful song (she was a guest on Parkinson). It was the most pleasant way to wake up. I had to youtube this song straight away. I had never heard of Katie before. Now I love her even more.

yes...and the man quite looks like Jesus... right... it may be.... "this life was not for you" interesting. But I also interpreted the song as physcoliv. I also the woman is slowly letting go of the man and the man is slowly letting go of the woman... they are in each other..very close...and they are "undressing" one another... it's very beautiful... i never saw such a nice clip, and the song itself is beautiful, and Katie's voice, too. Very beautiful.

It is obviously not a religious song. But Katie wrote it about the story of Mary Magdalene and Jesus, about the loss of love and about the loss of the beloved being. (Katie met Michael Baigent in Norway, and Michael talked to her about his book "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail")

In my opinion the guy in the beginning and how pieces of his face are being taken away to show hers means that shes slow letting go of someone who has basically touched her and this is the way of showing it. if you understand what im saying. idk its how i picture this video! hhaha but gorgeous song, beautiful voice :) im just not sure shes going for a religious view on this..
