Then I went to the cooper union,then pratt and then my New York license. The house was closed to the public for a week because politicians were using the house to have parties that week. Why do they get to use the house when no one else could even be considered to rent the house to have a party? Shame on them is my opinion.

You're right-Sara wrote Love Song because Epic wanted her to essentially "write a love song" to be the hit single off of Little Voice, and she refused. She didn't want to write a song just because they were telling her to, she wanted it to have meaning, come from her heart. Obviously, this did. And it's sort of ironic that IT became the hit single ;)

I think she wrote this about her record label. She said something like she got caught up in writing for the label instead of for herself and that's how this song came about. Pretty cool concept, didn't even think of it that way.
