I was a teen when ABBA was at their height and it was seriously UN-cool to like ABBA (I liked them anyway but I kept it a secret for my entire high school days). So now that they are gaining a new popularity 30 years later, I find that completely liberating and it makes them cool! Talent is always "cool" IMO.

I disagree. Agnetha's voice is much higher & when she belted in those high pitches her voice was just as powerful as Frida's. Listen to the live versions of "Hole in your Soul", "Thank U 4 Music" or "Take a Chance"- Olivia Newton John special. Ag's vocals were just as solid. Frida was not the driving machine, BOTH were & anyone who denies this is doing a diservice to both. Which song they sang was a factor on which 1 you could hear more. I can name a few songs were Ags voice was a major factor.

Without one of hte four, it just wouldn't be ABBA. Frida is my favorite, but only because as I child I listened to ABBA. I thought both Girls sung lead. When I became an adult, VH1 showed ABBA videos, and I realized that all my favorite songs as a child (and teen), Frida sung the lead. And I watched ABBA the movie, and I just loved her stage performance. There is no point in comparing the 2 ladies. One cannot compare a saprano (agnetha) with a mezzo-saprano/alto (Frida).

well, I must said that even that I like Frida too I disagree with the part that her voice is more powerful than Agnetha's, Agnetha has such a powerful voice and she can reach what ever note she wants to reach, just listen to Fernando, and so many others.I can hera them both, sometimes Agnetha more sometimes Frida.they r both great singers, but of course we are always going to have our personal fab! In my case my Fab is Agnetha...:)

ABBA is one of the biggest/best bands in the history of modern music, however, they were always known as being more of a studio band then a live performance band... it was simply the style of their music, the synthesized genre doesnt translate to live performance as well... that is why it is tough to find a live performance of ABBA's that is better than mediocre at best.

I can distinctly and clearly hear that is both voices doubling most lines except for a few solo lines from each. This combination of the two IS the magic of the ABBA sound. It is obvious when Frida or Agnetha are singing without the other voice for support which is only in those few places. Live, they doubled each other even more than on the studio recordings for added support. And they were experts at doubling each other which may be why it is hard for some to hear the difference.

Thrilling! 1 of my 1st and all time favorite ABBA songs and 1 of their very best - in a remix just as PERFECT as the original song itself. Cool video, overwhelming sound - greater remix than I ever dreamed of hearing, and perhaps the best that can be created of this song, exploiting its inherent strengths to the maximum. 10 times better than the A-Teens version, which I think is quite cool, actually... :-)
