curing with an iron is fine as long as the steam is off. If you are not using plastisol inks its fine to cure with an iron. just make sure the ink is dry first

yes, we can re-use them, but we still need to use chemicals to make the screen, ink, do the negative, then wash it again, in the end is cheaper to buy a screen for your work, shouldnt be higher than 120 buck to do it, but still.

haha, he is makin it look tougher than it is. I actually made a laser level, but taping a sheet of paper to your frame edge and using the opposite edge to line up register pins works just as well. Besides, most presses have micro registers, which Ryan mentions. Email me if you want a description of my laser level set-up, its crazy hah.

i use a 1000 watt bulb and that exposes for 3and a half minutes. so yours probably takes twice the time to expose.

I have a question, I'm a singer and I want my name and logo printed on my table cloth for my record table...I've talked to banner makers, etc, would it be a waste of money to have it silk screened since it's just one item I'm having done? How expensive is it to have a screen made? don't they just re-use them?

CD's are tough, you need a vacuum pallet and GP ink. Its an air dry process similar to signs.
