You could do this AS your cardio, but should try and build up to 20-30 minutes...I would throw in a Medicine Ball during the squat thrust (1st movement) Lift the ball overhead, drop down, hit push up, and pick up the ball on your way up and lift it overhead (THAT is the Ultimate Squat Thrust). Add some additional moves (crunches/ tricept dips ona chair/ lying leg cross overs) to work up to the 20 min mark, as doing only these 4 moves would get pretty boring.

ive done this everyday for a week now and i've lost weight..but then again i also only eat 1500 calories a day, burn a tiny bit of that off by doing this exercise...i also eat nothing with flavor..except for grapes, apples, and bananas for breakfast and lunch...then boiled chicken legs in a salad with carrots for dinner..after that nothing...perhaps thats something u guys should try if you want to lose weight...try a laxative here and there too.

Strength training is great for weight loss. Muscle burns more calories than strength (when resting) and the 80ish calories it burns while actually doing it doesnt count the calories burned afterwords. This doesnt really count as strength training though, if you did everything constantly throughout the whole workout it would keep your heart rate up. Its much more cardio than strength training.

I hope that you're just trying to be healthy and not super skinny cuz you have a beautiful, curvy, feminine figure. We're not supposed to look like boys, anorexics, junkies, or AIDS vicitims, despite what models may look like...I agree with the other people. Lose the nutrisystem diet and learn more about food. You need to eat right to be healthy and happy.

it's true that you shouldn't do it if you have a bad back, the question is, what is the problem : osteoporosis, and disc problems should avois it but scoliosis, it's not bad for it (unless you feel back pain while doing it).

Have serious injuries to left side of body: ankle, foot, knee, hip, & stomach areas. Left leg was crushed + l leg cut 50% through at knee, donor site for l leg was subscapular area-5.5"X10.5" approx. I started a Pilates class 2 weeks ago and have had 3 sessions. I felt everything better next day after first session. I walk taller, better posture and have actually lost half a stone in weight so far and trimmed two inches from my wist. im a 32" now. The only guy in the class, my pals laughed at me. Now they are facinated by Pilates. Its fantastic!

hey guy i have an d work out... lay down on your back arms at your side legs flat and straight not elevated drag your left heel on the mat towards ur but form a 90 degree angle w/ ur right arm make a fist with your right hand bring the left hand to the top of the right lift up so that you support your upper body weight on your right elbow, you dont want to rise completly off the mat just enough so that your left shoulder is off the mat try it and give me a thumbs up thumbs down

well I have a bad back cuz when I was little I was hiding under the table and jumped up real fast and made a big bruise across my back and it's been all jacked up since that day. I try to exercise the best I can. I can't help that my back hurts. :(
