I love it - 'You go work the concept of Palin as president for a while...' I'm glad to be British at the moment. All our parties suck. P.s. you should so apply for partner!!!

Mayor of a small town, Governor of the biggest state. Commands the Alaska National Guard and went to Kwait to oversee her troops. Took down corrupt politicians even in her own party when she was younger than 43. She is READY to lead!

The lefties are TERRIFIED. The desperation/panic is PRICELESS. I LOVE IT!!

have you seen the light yet?
By: mickeleh. on 05 Sep 08, 05:25:48
We do see things differently. I see in McCain someone who has breezily sold out every principled stand that made us admire him in 2000 so that he could capture the heart and soul of the right wing extreme of the Republican party and realize his blind ambition to be President.
By: FlyingTarantulas. on 04 Sep 08, 16:09:43
Does a person need a certain confidence in order to seek the pres? Of course! But the difference is between personal ambition and a sense of duty. A person who continues to do all they can may find themselves at the top of the heap to assume leadership. That's what I see in McCain. A long dedicated, decorated public servant who finds himself in the best position to lead this country as a SERVANT. I don't see that in Obama. He feels like a self touted Messiah. Duty = Those who can, must.

NOW is merely the organization of those liberal feminists that i mentioned earlier who make no room for women of dissenting opinion. i don't consider them the mouthpiece for all women. thus far, the obama campaign has said publicly that it could not provide proof of palin's opposition to equal pay. i don't see how public school's sex ed is a women's issue any more than it is a man's issue. it's a family issue and one that should remain with the family, not the government (palin might say).

NOW (National Organization for Women) even denounced her.. In my research, she not only opposes abortion, (even if the pregnant woman or child will die going through with the pregnancy, or they were raped and impregnated) but she also opposed the equal pay equal work, and opposes teenage sex education despite her unmarried 17 year old daughter.

i think last night's introduction was clear enough in bringing to light this newcomer's significant accomplishments. i'm sure transcripts are available. like boone pickens, palin views drilling as a bridge to energy independence, which we seem to be 10-15 years away from (depending who you ask). obama offers no such bridge and thus would continue our reliance on foreign oil. she is pro-women. liberal feminists who despise her pro-life voting record will have us believe otherwise.
By: mozbrooklyn. on 04 Sep 08, 12:56:47
I admire you for expressing your views of the "typical obama fanatic" no matter how wrong they may be. I, however, disagree with your statement of her "accomplishments" as they have not been clearly outlined to the public, we hardly know her. I see from her something I see from McCain. "Drill! Drill! Drill!" In all seriousness.. how long will drilling last? And another point is how she is "pro women" but has been shown to consistently vote against the majority of women.
By: johnbourbon. on 04 Sep 08, 12:44:41
now that her accomplishments have been clearly outlined to the public, to reduce palin to a "pin up girl" reveals the inherent sexism of the typical obama fanatic. clean up your dialogue or it will be the downfall of your idol's campaign.
By: mozbrooklyn. on 04 Sep 08, 08:20:41
From a liberal stance it was smart tactic.. but that's all it was/is. It is a huge tactic to lure in the SMALL amount of ignorant females out there who don't look at the issues. My wife/I will be voting OBAMA 2008, and when he does win it will be a joyous celebration for Americans, male or female. Unfortunately for McCain, throwing up a pin-up girl won't deter the majority from voting for America. A vote for Obama is not a vote for the democratic party, but a vote for the prosperity of the USA.

The liberal media will do its best to help inexperienced Obama win proving that Hollywood style politics will prevail, starting off a chain of inexperienced "leaders" who would lead this country to a real downfall and eventual destruction of America as we know it. Because of people like Obama and his supporters, politics have become a joke more than ever. How can McCain's choice be seen as falling for a trap? It was a smart choice considering the dynamics of the race.

PUMA is more of a cult like its blind devotion of seeing woman in office. I was a Hillary Supporter in the Primaries, but I won't vote for a 3rd Bush term
By: anebt. on 03 Sep 08, 21:03:59
Obama will probably win. No offense, but men as a whole will refuse to follow the leadership of a woman. Woman as a whole (in turn) are more apt to become "followers," whether their leader is kind to them or not. It is natural. The liberals and conservative men all resist the attempts by any woman to lead them in any way. Hillary realized that she didn't have a chance.
By: mickeleh. on 03 Sep 08, 20:21:38
Nope, You're right. American's will vote their beliefs. McCain and Palin will draw voters who believe in one philosophy. Obama-Biden will draw other voters. PUMAs will prove insignificant. Obama will win.
By: The8NegativeTruths. on 03 Sep 08, 17:37:25
Dear PUMA people: Ask yourself: Do you support a candidate or a philosophy? Do you support your party or your fundamental values? And will your vote reflect your values or your emotions? Will you vote for a candidate that also believes in your values for a candidate who has decades of experience in making sure that your values are not reflected...? Before this election, I thought the American people voted in accordance to their philosophy, virtues, values, and beliefs...guess I was wrong.
By: johnbourbon. on 03 Sep 08, 16:47:56
i'm certain you would agree that similarly, a PRESIDENT needs to be prepared to be president. why don't YOU go work on the concept of 'president obama' for a while...

God made woman beautiful and foolish; beautiful, that man might love her; and foolish, that she might love him For some bald sad mistake of a man, his payment is in his hand.
By: mickeleh. on 02 Sep 08, 02:43:08
thank you. Let me clarify. It's not the negativity that bothers me. It's the assumptions and generalizations. I don't like assumptions about what I am thinking.
By: brcbrtn. on 02 Sep 08, 01:29:11
mickeleh: Sorry for using the word "liberal"as as a slur against you. I'm sure that when you unleash YOUR negative comments, that it is done with the kindest of intentions. BTW, I have liberal friends too.
By: brcbrtn. on 01 Sep 08, 15:50:48
sploogersmoof: Common liberal misconception: you think that being crass and vulgar makes you sound edgy or witty. Your left-wing fear of the Bible cracks me up. liberals have been forcing THEIR "moral" agenda on this country for years through the media, Hollywood, public schools, etc., but here you are trashing a fine woman who just happens to believe in traditional family values. You get all panicked and envisision fascists and storm troopers marching in American streets. Gimme a break!
