It seems that the scrolling and zooming actions on the iPhone are more "fluid" and smooth than on the HTC phone, but I think that can be contributed to the fact that Safari is coded specifically for Apple hardware (Macs, iPhone, etc).

The HD is not coming to the states. Also, if you import the HD, it will not work on CDMA networks such as Verizon and Sprint. I e-mailed HTC a few weeks ago about this, and the response I got basically was "We have no plans to bring the HD to the states; if you are looking for these features, they can be found on the PRO and Diamond". For now, we're "stuck" with the two latter phones. Not such a bad thing, IMO. At least we can load custom ROM's into the phones, to increase features and speed.

I dont know. I am very aware of the capabilities of 1066 speed FSB, and a matching 1066 DDR3, it should blow it away..... My theory in response to my statement is this: maybe the software doesnt fully utilize all that speed? It's the only thing I could come up with, but when you think about it, it doesnt make sense. So idk.

IMO, I like my previous gen better. The only thing I would take from the new one is the unibody design; I like the fact that it is sturdier. The weirdest thing is, my 15 in 2.5 out-performs the new 15 in 2.5.....I didn't believe it, but I was looking at an extensive in-depth benchmark of both models....SOOOO, I love my old model!!
