This film footage is a night vision movie from Iraq, showing real live action against Iraqi insurgents.
The pictures were taken from an AC130 Specter gunship two and a half miles
away.

The guys in the picture are setting up a roadside bomb and planning to
ambush an American convoy which followed a short while after the pictures
were taken.

This is a pretty bad system. A number of other brands are using the thermal imaging from FLIR, much better system as it does not need any illumination (no blinding other drivers using IR). It also doesn't need headlights to be on at all.

No, it wasn't written before the 'emo' thing went mainstream, however Sick/Happy and Cut Down were. I would call this Post-Hardcore, they are great live as well. I think Hell is for Heroes and Funeral for a Friend were my favourite bands from 2001 - 2004 definitly.

I bought the gun and had it shipped to Doug Melton of SRT arms in Arizona to have him make and install a suppressor. It is now a class 3 weapon and with it goes the necessary NFA transfer stamp as applied for with the ATF. A suppressed gun without this stamp is not legal to possess with the possible exception of law enforcement (not sure). Thanks for the question.

I was aiming just behind and under the ear which in my experience is the best place to hit a hog to put it down. My hunting partner and I have taken forty hogs using these methods since we started hunting together in April. My shot appeared to hit directly behind the ear which for most guns would be a kill but the subsonic ammunition used does not create the trauma of 3000+ fps rounds. We keep our shots under 85 yards with most being in the 30 yard range.

The bullet in slow motion appeared to hit only slightly above the instant kill zone (spine). 1 inch lower and we would have recovered the hog. It was never found. I hope to post a new video every Saturday so keep looking for new ones. I currently have two other successful hunts on video that I will be posting.

It is a generation 3 monocular mounted to a dvd camcorder. The shooter's scope which is weapon mounted is also a generation 3. Until we started recording the hunts we were unaware that you could actually see the bullet traveling through the air but only if the infrared illuminator is utilized (watch closely).
